AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil (AHR) is a high-viscosity oil designed for high-horsepower racing engines, typically supercharged and alcohol-burning or nitro-fueled, requiring a high-viscosity oil to resist the thinning effects of fuel dilution.
AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil is formulated specifically for wear protection and friction reduction in the extreme conditions of racing. It is race proven and reduces friction, promotes power and inhibits wear.

Hallegren Brothers Racing of Kewaunee, Wisconsin uses AMSOIL products to protect their off-road race truck from the punishment of racing. Every year, the AMSOIL products in the truck perform flawlessly, says Jeff Hallegre n. "We punish this stuff hard. It's the best preventative maintenance we can do." During the 2000 racing season AMSOIL Dealer Herman Wood, Indianapolis, IN, worked with St. John Racing in a local truck series. Tommy St. John was a rookie truck builder and chief m echanic and Tommy St. John II was a rookie driver.
During the early part of the season, they struggled to get a handle on the truck, but the last half of the season was dynamite. In the early going they had trouble getting the chassis set up and had problems with the transmission. They switched to AMSOIL Automatic Transmission Fluid and the last half of the season was great. During the last race of the season Tommy II set a new track record, only to see the last truck to qualify break his record. Tommy II finished 3rd in rookie points and 6th overall in the season points.
With all the problems they had in the first half of the season, they still had a great season. They used AMSOIL grease, gear lube, and transmission fluid last season, but this year they are going bumper to bumper with AMSOIL. Tommy and Tommy II say thanks to AMSOIL for some great products

Top Engine Builder Says AMSOIL Is the Best!
Richie Zul is the "mad scientist" behind Zul Racing Engines in New Babylon, N.Y. Richie and his staff build and modify high-output racing engines for some of the world's fastest boats, including the APBA Hall-of-Famer "Fever" and several of the Eastcoast Marine boats regularly featured in AMSOIL literature. Over the past ten years, they have become famous for their expertise and, today, about 50 racing boats carry "Richie Zul Engines". Last year, Zul gained the coveted APBA (American Powerboat Assoc.) Offshore Inboard Engine Builder of the Year Award.
Zul is a devoted user and installer of AMSOIL Products, particularly AMSOIL 20W-50 Racing Oil. "The number-one reason we use AMSOIL is for its instant-lubrication ability. The Racing Oil gets to problem areas very quickly and is very light on start-up. With other oils, you get dry starts and it takes longer for the oil to reach the upper cylinders and pistons. And that's when a good deal of wear occurs. AMSOIL gets up into the cylinders and pistons faster than anything we've seen. AMSOIL stays fluid even at cold temperatures, and with a boat engine that can be important. It also gives us quick start-ups, less drag and better acceleration."
Zul builds his engines and does his own dynamometer testing with them, fine-tuning the "monsters" to perfection. These engines can propel boats to speeds of around 140 mph. He is fully aware that a superior quality lubricant makes a big difference. "These engines are run extremely hard. With AMSOIL, we can expect a 20 - 30 deg. F. temperature drop, and that means more power being used for output. I think AMSOIL is an outstanding oil, and we wouldn't use anything else."
